ROG Nebula HDR
Grander visuals, brought to life in HDR Games have never looked like this good on an Ally. The all-new Nebula HDR Display brings a true OLED panel to the ROG XBOX Ally X20 — inky, perfect blacks and dazzling 1400-nit highlights bring every explosion, sunset, and neon-lit alley to life. With VESA Display HDR True Black 1400 certification and VRR support for smooth motion, it’s the ultimate handheld experience. And thanks to a slimmer top bezel, you get a more expansive 7.4-inch FHD view in the same sleek, portable body.

All-day ergonomics
Pick it up, and it just feels right. Every curve, angle, and gram down to the sculpted grips that fill your palms is shaped with years of ROG ergonomic research to disappear into your hands: perfectly sized, perfectly weighted, perfectly balanced.

TMR Joysticks
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme 24GB 1TB 120Hz Gaming Handheld (80Wh) features the cutting-edge in joystick technology, with magnetic TMR sensors that detect the most minute movements for precise control. Minimized risk of stick drift, a tight 3% deadzone and millimetre precision are combined with a new algorithm that eliminates four-axis snapping and enhances diagonal inputs, all with minimal power draw.

Transforming D-pad
Instantly adapt your playstyle with the Transforming D-pad. By slightly lifting the D-pad and rotating it 90 degrees, you can toggle between strict 4-way precision for indie and retro gaming and sweeping 8-way control for fighting game dominance no tools or spare parts needed. Beneath the surface, a tactical rubber and metal dome hybrid guarantees every input remains fiercely tactile and decisively precise.

Face Buttons
The domed ABXY buttons are engineered to sit perfectly flush with the surface when fully pressed. This eliminates harsh edges, letting your thumb glide seamlessly between inputs. Tuned to a lighter actuation, they deliver relentless speed and marathon-ready comfort.

Rubberized Grips
Comfort starts with a confident grip: the more naturally-shaped the grips are, the less effort you need to exert — and the lighter the perceived weight in your hands. A new ROG-embossed anti-slip texture locks in that secure hold at any angle, for any hand.

Bumper & Trigger
The reshaped bumpers deliver a definitive, satisfying click that eliminates any doubt every press is instantly recognized. Paired with a deeper, smoother, more controlled trigger travel and the immersive haptic feedback of impulse triggers, every action feels flawlessly precise.

Mastery, Refined
Unlock the full potential of the Ryzen™ AI Z2 Extreme with dynamic resource allocation for a deeply responsive gaming engine. To sustain this peak power, we’ve equipped the ROG Xbox Ally X20 AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme 24GB 1TB 120Hz Gaming Handheld (80Wh) with a large 80Wh battery and an evolved ROG Intelligent Cooling system that drives air directly to the processor via a new internal channel and high-flow fans.
